GRASS FED BEEF:  Whole & Half

Whole Beef Pricing: $4.10 per pound hanging weight. We pre-sell the whole beef with a $1000 non-refundable deposit. The final balance will be due upon delivery when weights have been determined. Final pricing will vary depending on hanging weight from the butcher. 

For example:

$4.10 x 630 lbs. = $2,583 (Approx. 410 lbs. finished cuts in the freezer)

$4.10 x 600 lbs. = $2,460 (Approx. 390 lbs. in the freezer)

Half Beef pricing: $4.30 per pound hanging weight. We pre-sell our halves with a $500 non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due upon delivery.

For example:

$4.30 x 310 lbs. hanging weight = $1,333  (Approx. 202 lbs. finished cuts)

 

It is important to understand that the final price depends on the size of the animal and its hanging weight. The hanging weight is determined at the butcher shop. The beef will hang, dry aging for 10 to 14 days before being cut to your specifications. 

What to expect from your beef:  How an animal is butchered (cut sheet specs) will affect the yield.  Different cut selections and bone-in/boneless options all effect the yield,  but on average it is typically two thirds of the hanging weight. The cuts you will receive are on the meat breakdown page. The first order seems a little complicated but there really are no bad choices. Please call with any questions as you go through the process, we`d love to help!
